Tom Massman Construction

Welcome to Decorah, where a little town lives BIG

For 35 years, homebuilder Tom Massman has brought his strong work ethic to his job sites in Decorah and Winneshiek County. With the same dedication to the trade, son Travis joined his father’s firm on a full time basis in 2003. Both pride themselves in listening to their customers’ needs, coming up with innovative solutions, and building homes that are as well made as they are beautiful to look at. As members of the Center on Sustainable Communities (COSC), they keep themselves educated in current ‘best building practices’ and both hold training certificates from COSC.

“My crew is trained and eager to help in every aspect of building. It helps them and me keep an eye on the big picture. We build more than homes; we want to be proud of the neighborhood we add to.”
